Hi everyone! I was practicing on Duolingo and I came across a question that seemed straightforward, but the answer perplexed me.
“The Garcías already changed neighborhoods ten times.”
So, I translated it like this:
“Los García ya se cambiaron de barrio diez veces.”
It marked it as correct, which is all fine and dandy, but it offered an alternate answer, which simply read:
“Los García ya cambiaron de barrio diez veces.”
Why is the version with “se” AND without “se” marked correct? Was this an error on Duolingo’s behalf, or was my original answer wrong? I’m really confused about it!
