How to say "You can keep it"?

I was watching a video about how to use "keep" phrases in spanish and my reasoning was that if "puedes quedarte la foto" means "you can keep the photo", then "puedes quedarlo" must mean "you can keep it". But the video said it would actually be "puedes quedártelo". Is mine correct too or am I missing some information here?
