A girl I’ve been dating told me she is catching feelings and will only see me if we are exclusive. So a few days later, I got back in touch and told her we can talk about it in person over lunch, but I’m open to it
She replied “Esta bien” “Nos vemos”
I took it as Ok, see you soon
But I also know esta bien can mean “it’s ok” “see you later” in a dismissive tone but maybe that’s just an American thing? Typically Americans reject propositions with “it’s ok” and “see you later” when offended or rubbed the wrong way.
I just think it was a strangely dull and formal response to her confessing her emotions to me the other day. Like a short text
Which one is it.?
