Por qué no se usa “le ha sucedido algo” o “le haya sucedido algo”?
In english: “I wonder if anything has happened to her?”
The literal translation would be “I wonder if anything will have happened to her?” but I don’t know why the future tense is used here in Spanish and I can’t seem to figure out how to google this question.
Context: “Montse no suele llegar tarde. Me pregunto si le habrá sucedido algo. – Montse isn't usually late. I wonder if anything has happened to her.”
