International accreditation

Students abroad are usually divided into two groups: Free movers are students who travel entirely on their own initiative, while exchange students use exchange programs at a department, faculty, institution, or national level.

Universities with no exchange program

If your university is not listed above, you can still study at the University of Cantabria and have your credits recognised. You should ask your university if they will accept you as a free-mover student and if they will accept credits from the Universidad de Cantabria. The best part about studying abroad as a free mover is that it’s a much more immersive experience. There is no faster way to learn something than to totally immerse yourself in it. There is something magical about diving into an experience like this head first. You’ll come home with new competencies and a deeper understanding of the world.
